As this year marks the tenth anniversary of my debut novel, The Trouble With Being God, I have decided to go back and give it a refresh. This includes a recent batch of edits and revisions cleaning up some of the text and reworking several sections of the original book so it is overall a better reading experience. The goal was to keep the story itself the same, but to improve some phrasing, grammar and other aspects of the writing.
This new version is now available on Amazon as a Kindle e-book, along with a totally redesigned cover much more in line with the book’s original vision.
“With all the dreams I’ve been having, there’s one thing I can take comfort in: they are MY dreams. If they weren’t my dreams, if they weren’t something I decided, subconsciously even, that’s when I would start to be truly worried.
I now know what I need to do to make the dream go away.”
As series of grisly murders plagues the city of Courtsdale, journalist Steven Carvelle attaches himself to the developing story. But the deeper he digs, the more his own nightmares bear an uncanny resemblance to the murders of the serial killer known as ‘The Courtsdale Carver.’
It’s up to him to put an end to things.
Even if it means destroying himself and everyone he loves in the process.
If you haven’t yet had a chance to pick it up, you can get it here – for the low price of $4.99.
… and stay tuned for more news on The Trouble With Being God, including a 10th Anniversary Special Edition Paperback later this year!
